Fees.

Please note that we operate as primarily a cash practice and therefore the client is responsible for the payment of sessions directly to the practice. The client will receive an invoice that can be submitted to the medical aid for reimbursement. Alternatively, the practice is contracted to most major medical aids and the option to claim directly from your medical aid is available upon request.

Clients are expected to pay at the time of service and I accept Cash or EFT.

Once payment has been received, I will supply you with a receipt which can be used to claim back from your medical aid.

  • Individual Therapy

    R 1 250.00 per session (in line with medical aid rates)

    Please note I am happy to accept and/or apply for qualifying PMB clients.

    *My hourly rate applies to parent-focused sessions, as well as learning support.

  • Play Therapy

    This is for ages 5 - 9 years old.

    R 800.00 per session.

    Please note I am happy to accept and/or apply for qualifying PMB clients.

  • Psycho-Educational Assessment and Accommodation Assessment

    R 5 500.00 all inclusive – intake, assessment, report and feedback.

  • Career & Subject Choice Assessments

    R 4 500.00

    all inclusive – intake, assessment, report and feedback.

  • School Readiness Assessments

    R 5 500.00

    all inclusive – intake, assessment, class observations, report and feedback.

  • Additional Services

    School Feedback Letter – R 300.00 (brief teacher-friendly summary of findings)

    Additional Feedback Meeting – R 750.00 (e.g. school meeting)

  • It is advisable to contact your medical aid first to enquire about the availability of funds and the specific benefits of your particular benefit option (as not all medical aid plans make provision for educational assessments and therapy sessions).

  • Invoices for therapy are sent out after sessions these are payable upon receipt while invoices for assessments are sent prior to the assessment and are payable on/before the first day of assessment.

  • Cancellations and rescheduling of appointments must be made no later than 24 hours prior to scheduled appointments.

    A fee will be charged for late cancellations or missed appointments. Please also note that this fee will not be covered by the medical aid scheme and as such will need to be settled out of pocket.
